Congratulations, Chicago Cubs!

They did it! Their 108-year championship drought is over. This was a wonderful World Series, and Chicago’s Ben Zobrist got the MVP award for 10 hits in 28 at-bats.

A lot of credit goes to the Cleveland Indians for pushing this all the way to Game 7. Cleveland was up 3-1 and just couldn’t seal the deal, which makes sense since they’re now the holder of the longest current MLB championship drought. It’s 68 years right now, so maybe next year…

But it’s still this year, and let’s just say it one more time:

CONGRATULATIONS, CHICAGO!
